Efua-Maria Raknerud Aikins

Efua-Maria Raknerud Aikins is an artist of Norwegian and Ghanaian background. At 15, she entered the Dance Program at Edvard Munch Upper Secondary School. In 2025, she completed a four-year bachelor’s degree in Expanded Contemporary Dance at the Amsterdam University of the Arts (AHK).

During her third year at AHK, Efua took part in the production I Want Absolute Beauty (2024), directed by the artistic director Ivo van Hove in collaboration with La Horde and the Ballet National de Marseille. She continued her work with La Horde x Ballet National de Marseille as an apprentice throughout the season of 2024/2025. Efua also works multidisciplinary throughout the field of art.

Efua-Maria is part of NSP 2 for the season 2025-2026.
