Nagelhus Schia Productions strive to reach and engage children and young people in the arts, through an affective, pedagogic and all-inclusive framework. We want to build bridges between schools and youth, with some of Norway’s leading artists and pedagogues. We believe the arts can inspire and motivate youth to learn and cultivate new skills.

Nagelhus Schia Productions aim to engage youth with a high interest in dance, as well as those who would not otherwise have the opportunity to engage in dance. Our education and outreach programmes are all inclusive, regardless of social, cultural, physical or economical background. 

Thanks to Sparebankstiftelsen DNB’s generous gift of kr. 4,5 million kroners, we are able to provide free cultural education and outreach programs for children and young people from all over Norway. 

We offer a range of activities, including: participatory workshops, pre- and post-performance talks, openstage rehearsals and performances. In context of our national touring circuit, we visit schools across the country and deliver workshops, with pedagogic reference to our current productions.
