Ingun Bjørnsgaard is one of Norway's most distinguished choreographers. Since 1992 she has created a number of critically acclaimed performances with her own company, Ingun Bjørnsgaard Prosjekt.
Ingun Bjørnsgaard also works as a guest choreographer for established companies such as The Norwegian Opera and Ballet, the Royal National Ballet in Stockholm and Carte Blanche in Bergen.
Her choreographic signature pieces have been developed over many years, in close collaboration with key Norwegian performers and composers.
Ingun Bjørnsgaard reaps recognition both nationally and internationally. In the fall of 2010, she received the Critics Award in the category of dance, for the performance Largo. She became the first choreographer to receive this award twice, having also received the Critics Award for Sleeping Beauty in 1995.
