Panisara Wanlopbanhan

Panisara Wanlopbanhan was born in Bangkok, Thailand. In her early years of school she was introduced to dance through Thai traditional dance (Ram Thai). At a very young age she moved to Haugesund, Norway, where she was eventually re-introduced to dance at the age of 15. She attended Skeisvang upper secondary school majoring in dance and went on to take further studies in Oslo where she graduated with a BA in contemporary dance from Oslo National Academy of the Arts (KHiO) in 2020.

During her education she had the opportunity of working with Ludvig Daae, Ingrid Berger Myhre, Alan Lucien Øyen and Daniel Proietto and working with repertory work from Sharon Eyal under direction of Osnat Kelner and Yaniv Cohen. Outside of her studies she has also worked with Ingri Fiksdal for a performance of  Shadows of Tomorrow at Oslo International Theater Festival in 2019. After her education she joined Kompani Haugesund, a project-based dance company with connections to the Haugalandet region.

Panisara was part of NSP2 (2020-2021).
